How to Fit Larger Tires on Jeep Cherokee KL Trailhawk: Pinch Weld Mod.

So I'm in need of new tires on my 2015 Cherokee KL. So I figured if I'm getting new tires lets get bigger tires to increase the ground clearance. My plan is to put Falken Wildpeak at/3w size 265/70r17's on my Cherokee. Well turns out in order to fit larger tires on the KL you have to cut back on the pinch weld. So in this video I put the Cherokee on jack stands, pop of the wheels and show you how to cut back the pinch weld. This should be pretty much the same process on 2014- 2018 Jeep Cherokee KL Trailhawks. Hope this is helpful.
