Movie Musicals #62: Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker The Musical
Rey and Kylo Ren (aka Ben Solo... wait, is that a spoiler?) lead the final song and dance of the Skywalker saga as they both race to track down Palpatine. Meanwhile, the old Sith Lord Emperor throws down some hardcore rap along with Luke, Leia, Finn, C3PO, Poe Dameron and Lando Calrissian. BB-8, R2D2, Jannah, Zorii Bliss, Generals Hux, Pryde, X-Wing, A-Wings, Y-Wings, the Millennium Falcon, Star Destroyers, a heap of Stormtroopers and everything else that makes a billion dollar box office success get in on the dancing party as well!

Emperor Palpatine,

With a message inscribed but it’s not very apparent.

C-3PO:
I can read it, but my programming forbids it,
So the only way I can is if my programming’s restarted.

Leia:
I’m saddened and weak from all of the fighting,
So I distract my son, as I lay dying.

Kylo:
How could mom do that? I just can’t see,
Almost as confusing as to why Rey healed me.

Luke:
You must face Palpatine,
Even though he’s mean.
Just like I faced Vader,
Typical Sith with Jedi offspring.

Palpatine:
Kill me, so I can take your body,
My spirit will transfer to you faster than a USB.

Rey:
That will never happen, even if I must die,
With the Skywalker sabers, I’ll make sure that we both fry.

Kylo:
Return the favor, bring Rey back to life,
Share an overdue kiss, then I say goodbye.

Poe:
We need to spread hope across the galaxy,
Looks like Lando’s got it covered as he joins the party.

Finn:
More ships show up than Return of the Jedi,
Even Luke’s X-Wing can be seen in flight.

Bridge
Rey:
I am still Rey,
But my last name must be changed.
Hate Palpatine.
So Skywalker’s what I will take.
Never thought that this story would end,
Nine episodes have maxed out this space trend.
It’s time for peace, chill time with my friends.
