100 Year Old Knife tool Restoration Perfect restoration filleting knife ???

I wanted to keep the knife as close to original due to the age so i did not shape the tip or sharpen it or going at it hard I used hand tools where possible

i found this in my home town that is on the cost of the uk and close to where it is made so it is possible this has been used at sea from people from my local town
I found this knife in a skip and though it was nice to restore it

I contact6ed H-M steel in Sheffield and sent them a picture of the knife they told me they knife has been in production from 1850 to early 1900s but they could not give me an accurate date on this vintage tool

so this vintage knife could be 168 years old i don't think so looking by the condition as it is to good there was some deep pitting though

I used electrolysis to remove the heavy rust electric is a good way to remove hard rust also I did not want to sand the knife to hard so i could keep its original features due to the age

I removed the light rust with water and vinegar it is a light degreaser
