Dr. Matthew Richardson explains forehead reduction, also known as hairline advancement, hairline lowering, or scalp advancement. You can also see 1 week post-operative before and after photographs. This procedure is great for lowering a high hairline, with as much as 2-3 cm of advancement possible during one session, which is usually adequate for most patients. The scar fades over time and hair grows through the scar to make it almost invisible!

Dr. Richardson is double board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
