Jet2 Boeing 757-27B Manchester to Fuerteventura | Full Flight

Jet2 recently won a number of awards and were placed in the Top 10 best airlines worldwide on TripAdvisor, the only UK/European airline on the list. So a family holiday to the Canaries was the perfect oppurtunity to see if they deserved to be on the list.

Our flight today departed from Manchester's T1, more specifically Terminal 1B, Jet2's bag drop area is fantastic and we were airside in no time, aircraft for today was a 31 year old Boeing 757-200, boarding started on time and soon enough we were on our way.

A fairly short taxi out to 23L preceded one of the best takeoffs I have ever experienced, the sound from Row 8 was incredible when the RB211's kicked in. Not long after reaching FL370 I opted to purchase a meal, going for Chili. I have to say it was really good, no complaints there. The 4 hour flight passed quickly and we then began a stunning approach onto Runway 19, with a smooth landing well ahead of schedule.

I'll leave my overall conclusions to my return flight video later this week, but I will say that this was a fantastic flight with Jet2, for a 31 year old aircraft the cabin was immaculate, comfortable and quiet, the selection of food and drink was excellent and offered good value for money, my meal also tasted great! The crew were friendly and attentive and finally the flight was smooth, early and offered great sights and sounds the whole way.
