How to Cold Call - Web Designers/Freelancers

In this video, I break down my own cold calling method that I have used successfully for several years.
It is easy and very logical.
It works backwards from what you need for a sale...
- To get a sale you need to have a longer sales conversation with a potential client. This is usually around 30-60 mins.
- BUT to get a potential client to have this sales conversation you need for them to be interested and that they trust you. You also need to have the right time (they aren't busy or engaged with other tasks).
- So to build trust and get them interested you can FIRST send them an email that shows them why they should trust you and why they should be interested in talking with you.
- And to make sure they will see and read the email you first COLD CALL to let them know you are sending it and why.
In the actual order this looks like:
- prospect for suitable clients
- quick cold call to get permission to email
- send an email with more valuable and relevant info
- set up a time that suits both the client and you
- have a proper sales conversation
- if suitable send project plan and invoice
- close the sale
