First, let me say that I know traveling internationally is a privilege.

I’m privileged to be an American with an American passport that allows me almost complete access to the entire world 🇺🇸

I’m privileged that my family had the means to travel while I was growing up. I’m privileged that my parents taught me to value experiences over things.

I’m privileged that I have the ability to travel the world now as an adult. That I have no medical conditions or financial hardships preventing me from traveling.

I was privileged to have a job with paid time off when I worked a 9-5.

I am SO lucky that I’ve gotten to experience so many incredible adventures around the globe, and I’m only 30 years old 🫶🏼

I want everyone to be able to experience this! (Which is the whole reason I started my blog in the first place)

I wanted to make international travel feel more accessible for every day people 🖤

So it makes me really sad to see people who have the ability and means to leave the country but never do. Not because they can’t, but because they don’t want to.

Because they are missing out on SO much 😔

I believe traveling the world makes you a better human.

It makes you kinder, calmer, more emphatic, and more understanding.

It teaches you how to handle stress.

It helps you appreciate and understand people who are different than you.

And it 100% makes you realize how privileged you are.

So I will keep sharing all of my travel tips and insights across these platforms to hopefully encourage more Americans to GO SEE THE WORLD!! 🗺️
