1999 Ford Ranger - Fixing leaks project 1 (oil pan removal attempt 1)

Using the advice of another YouTuber, I attempt to use the transmission to jack up the motor high enough to remove the oil pan.

In the video the pan is stuck behind the transmission to motor plate/shield. I was able to get it unstuck, but it proved a bust as there just wasn't enough room to remove the pan.

Will move on to removing transmission, and figure out from there how to jack the motor up without a hoist.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.
