Bushfire burning in Tara, Qld upgraded to emergency warning again
A bushfire burning in Tara, Queensland has been upgraded again to an emergency level.
Locals on Lucky Road have been told to leave immediately.
Fires in the area have scorched more than 20,000 hectares over the past few days and have destroyed 44 homes.
Firefighters are on high alert as hot temperatures threaten to fuel multiple blazes across the state.
Authorities are hoping to strengthen containment lines on Monday before temperatures in the region reach the mid-30s on Tuesday.
