Kaziranga National park is famous for one horned rhinoceros.Spread over 430 square kms.UNESCO World Heritage site since 1985.Tiger reserve since 2006.Also an Important Bird Area recognised by BirdLife International . Birds like lesser white fronted goose, ducks, black necked stork and Asian openbill stork migrate here from Central Asia. Variety of flora and fauna here. To encourage wildlife tourism there is arrangement of Elephant safari and open jeeps in the park.There are beautiful observation towers here.
