Remove the cover plate on the inside of a Medeco commercial lockset.

I have to change 3 Medeco (commercial, I believe) locksets in a house because they're double locks; this means you need a key to even escape in the event of an emergency. I'm going to do it myself to save about $400.

The challenge is that there are no obvious screws to remove the inside cover and some videos say there is a recess or hole into which a tool is placed to remove the cover. The (apparently) commercial version of these locks here do not have a hole or recess.

These locksets have a wire circlip which retains a smooth plate which covers the through-bolts. This video shows how to remove the circlip easily. I tried following another video and the circlips here didn't come out as easily as that other video showed. This is how I got them out easily.
