This silent 1930s documentary was produced by Loucks and Norling Studios, and looks at where natural gas is produced, how it is pumped out of the ground, and how it is transported across the US. It does this with detailed animations of geological cross-sections and footage of a new well being sunk. This is followed by footage of the construction of a new gas pipeline and how it is buried in different environments like swamps and rivers.
