Omni designs powerful, affordable and inclusive solutions for people with reduced mobility.

65 million people in the world need a wheelchair. Wheelchair users suffer from many disadvantages: (1) moving around takes on average twice as much time; (2) 60% of manual wheelchair users suffer from musculoskeletal disorders; and (3) mobility solutions are medical solutions that cost thousands of euros and reinforce the disability stigma associated with wheelchairs.

Our first solution, The Globetrotter, has been designed with our co-founder Charlotte who has been using a manual wheelchair since she was four years old.

The GlobeTrotter is a fixing system that allows wheelchair users to ride electric scooters. A powerful motorization, with an average range of 25 km, users are free to go anywhere at any time. The solution is also 4 times cheaper than previous models and gives the opportunity to use a mainstream and fun scooter. After 2 years of R&D and patent applications, we have produced pre-series in August 2020 and delivered beta users. Our goal is to help foster social inclusion for 500 000 people by 2025.
