Originally from Sri Lanka but moved to Hong Kong for four years where she completed her Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences (minors in Neuroscience and Counselling) at the University of Hong Kong. she is passionate about raising awareness on mental health which led her to be part of a suicide prevention project called "The Empathy Production" based in Facebook. It aims to encourage open dialogue on mental health and suicide, as well as to inform people on how they can help someone who is suicidal.
She loves to try out a range of things from art, baking, ballet, bowling, Bollywood dancing and anything else that challenges her!
In the future she wants to work in neurorehabilitation to help those with mental disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, with a focus on brain rewiring.
