Jingle Bells (Guitar Ensemble "Raffaello Sanzio" School - Tremestieri, Sicily)

I miei allievi del terzo anno del corso di chitarra della Scuola Media ad Indirizzo Musicale "Raffaello Sanzio" di Tremestieri Etneo (CT) interpretano un mio arrangiamento per ensemble di chitarre di un famoso canto natalizio statunitense (scritto da James Lord Pierpont nel 1857), uno dei più famosi e conosciuti al mondo. Purtroppo le sempre crescenti restrizioni e misure di contenimento al covid-19 ci hanno obbligati a realizzare questo lavoro online con tutti i "limiti" che ciò comporta.. Tuttavia, pur con questi limiti e con le difficoltà contingenti dovute anche al fatto che purtroppo sono costretto a casa (in malattia) da sabato 28 novembre, ritengo che il risultato sia buono e rappresenti, oltre che un bel ricordo, un premio per i ragazzi di cui possono essere orgogliosi! Auguri a tutti di Buon Natale e di un Buon Anno 2021!!

My students of the third year of the guitar course of the Middle School "Raffaello Sanzio" of Tremestieri Etneo (CT) performed my arrangement for guitar ensemble of a famous American Christmas carol (written by James Lord Pierpont in 1857), one of the most known in the world. Unfortunately, the ever increasing restrictions needed to contain the covid-19 virus have forced us to carry out this work online, with all the "limits" that this entails... However, despite these limitations and with the contingent difficulties due to the fact that unfortunately I have been forced home (in sickness) since Saturday 28 November, I believe that the result is good and represents, as well as a good memory, a reward for the guys of whom they can be proud!
