Troy Analysis - How it got Achilles and The Iliad WRONG!

This essay is a Troy analysis, exploring the character Achilles and the themes of Wolfgang Petersen's swords and sandals epic, from 2004, comparing it to Homer's The Iliad. This essay is therefore also a The Iliad analysis.

I'm comparing how Achilles, played by Brat Pitt, appears in the film Troy to how he appears in The Iliad. This Troy analysis also sheds light on the role of Hector and Patroclus as they relate to our protagonist, Achilles.
