The bead I am using is about 20-25mm, but you can use any size and shape you want, just cut your wires a bit longer if your bead is larger than mine.
I am using 3 pieces (7 inches each) of 20 gauge wire. The weaving wire is 28 gauge and I keep that on the spool as I weave, so the length used is unknown.
