iPhone: How to Auto-Rotate ONLY Specific Apps (Screen Rotation Per App)

In this tutorial, I show how to make your iPhone screen rotate for only one specific app, while keeping Orientation Lock enabled for everything else.

Since iOS doesn’t natively support per-app rotation settings, I walk you through a simple workaround using the Shortcuts app. You’ll learn how to create an automation that turns Orientation Lock off when you open a specific app, and another automation that turns it back on when you leave that app.

This is a great way to keep your phone locked in portrait most of the time, but still allow rotation in apps where it actually makes sense.

In this video you’ll learn:
• How to enable screen rotation for one app only
• How to create a Shortcuts automation to toggle Orientation Lock
• How to turn rotation off again when leaving the app
• A simple workaround for per-app rotation control on iPhone
