EMR Simulator with DICOM Modality Worklist using PowerShell and Offis binaries
I made a poor-mans EMR (with a poor-mans database using CSV files) in the Powershell. The DICOM Modality Worklist functionality is using Offis binaries.
Its a fairly simple demostrative system, which approximates the process of creating (registering) a patient, then sending an ADT. Once an ADT is created, there is a PowerShell script that runs as a DMWL server (again, using Offic binaries) that will generate orders for point of care devices.
You can also send orders, which the DMWL server will use to respond to queries.
This project could also be used for troubleshooting and testing... it generates fairly comprehensive and well-formed HL7 inline with the DICOM standard (and sequences) and IHE. You can also use the built-in DMWL client to query other DMWL servers.
