Uninsured and live in southeastern NC? Watch this video.

If you're without health insurance in North Carolina, you may be wondering where you can receive care without coverage.

One option is the 18 Access Health Networks in the state, which connect patients with clinics, providers and hospitals in different regions.

For New Hanover, Brunswick, Columbus, and Pender counties, Cape Fear HealthNet connects patients with local clinics and hospitals who partner with the organization.

Dr. Andre Leonard says that patients enrolled in their program receive quality care equivalent to that of private insurance.

“The services that we can provide are the same as what anybody who has private insurance can get,” he said.
