In this two-hour workshop, learn and get hands-on machine learning practices using accurate industrial data to solve an actual problem we encounter here at Indeed. We will introduce the problem description, go through a few step-by-step approaches, and work to reach the most practical solution. Please note that this workshop is for audiences with proficient Python skills.

Speaker profile

Jin Yichao is a Senior Data Scientist at Indeed's Singapore office. He is fully embedded with the product team to continuously deliver data science solutions. He helps people get jobs by making sure all the job-related data are organized in a meaningful manner. Before joining Indeed, he had published 27 papers in top conferences/journals and obtained his PhD degree in Computer Science from NTU. He had also worked as a Software Engineer for many years focusing on developing and delivering high-quality software solutions. He continues fantasizing about becoming a "full-stack" technologist.
