A detailed review of the Dyson V10 Absolute and Roidmi F8 Storm.

Roidmi is a relative newcomer to the market and aims to challenge Dyson's dominance. How good is it? This video will reveal how the F8 fares against the Dyson V10 where I did 14 tests to compare how these products differ in different aspects such as cleaning performance, noise, attachments, airflow, run time, and more.

The biggest takeaway after all the tests I did was that the Roidmi F8 almost performed as well as the Dyson V10 in cleaning on hard floor and carpet.

But it's not all roses for the F8, it's got some flaws that I'll share in the video such as the small dust cup that can get downright filthy to empty.

The looping handle is a novel idea, but I find it too cumbersome to carry when holding it at the back portion since my arm is carrying all the weight.

I like the V10's hygienic system because in most cases, you don't have to touch dirt as long as it's below the max fill line. Dyson also has the larger bin that almost doubles the capacity of the F8 (770 milliliters vs. 400 milliliters).

The Dyson V10 has more airflow and will run longer so it will clean carpet more efficiently.

It has three power settings vs. the two in the Roidmi F8. I like the middle setting because offers the right balance of airflow and run time. On hard floors, you can leave it at the lowest setting and will pick up most of the dirt.

Overall the Dyson V10 provides better overall value when it comes to performance, run time, and ease of use. The Roidmi F8 is a compelling option because it is cheaper by around 50%, but it does have some flaws that I've outlined here.

If you're willing to spend a few hundred dollars more on a cordless stick vacuum then the Dyson V10 Absolute is an excellent option to look at. Folks who don't mind the limitations of the F8 can save a few hundred dollars and still get a good performing stick vacuum.
