Georgia: Tbilisi to Batumi and Beyond

Georgia was one of the most uniquely beautiful places I've ever spent my summers. Thanks to some flight cancellations I needed to use up my flight credit somewhere, and with this country I hardly knew existed being wide open for tourism I decided to give it a try... and boy was I rewarded. Georgia is both ancient and extremely new, with former soviet structures now standing in the shadows of both the history they tried to cover up and with newly built architecture meant to drown out such past wounds.

In this video I take you through my three weeks in Georgia, starting. in the capital city of Tbilisi, then the coastal city of Batumi on the Black Sea, then finally throughout the entire country starting in Gori and the Stalin Museum, the rugged mountains of Kazegbi, The Holy City of Mtskheta, Jvari Monestary, The Cave Cities of Uplistsikhe and Vardzia, The Castle Dungeons of Rabati and even drink from. the famous mountain springs in Borjomi!
