A Conservation Story: A Commode Made for Marie-Antoinette by Jean-Henri Riesener
A short documentary from 2013 that gives an insight into the conservation of Marie-Antoinette's commode at the Wallace Collection, London. The conservation was part of the Riesener Project, an ongoing collaboration with curators and conservators from the Wallace Collection, Waddesdon Manor and the Royal Collection, to better understand the works of Jean-Henri Riesener in our collections.
