2017 Ford F250 Foggy Rear Backup Camera Dissected

Common problem for Ford F Series trucks is a fogged up rear camera. The image shown on the dash display is all but unusable due to the foggy appearance. This video dissects the camera in an attempt to understand why it failed. See the thumbnail pix for the "white coating" refered to at the end of this video. Ford needs to take ownership of this issue and recall these trucks with faulty cameras. Not only is it annoyance but a NTSA safety issue. None of us wants to back over a kid at the Wal-mart parking lot.
