Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies / Distant Thunder • Finale

The last mission intro still gives me chills. The presentation is superb - from the music, camera shots, meteor fragments entering atmosphere to the beginning of the mission where you realize that you've got your own Mobius squadron of F-22s now and then the Megalith Agnus Dei piece kicks in... you feel truly unstoppable.

The mission itself is pretty straightforward - tangle with the remnants of the Yellow Squadron and go through several tight spaces to end some super-weapon.

There is one interesting individual credited in "Special Thanks" section - Pete "Boomer" Bonanni, you may remember him as an consultant on Falcon 3.0 and Falcon 4.0.
