Low Water Cheat Canyon Pin

The Cheat Canyon was running at 1.03 feet, the lowest any of us had done it before. Halfway down Beech Run, I tried to turn and hit a submerged rock that I couldn't see. This rock spun my kayak around sideways into a second rock, which pulled my cockpit rim under and pinned my kayak solidly. Held in there for as long as I could and tried to push myself around the rocks, but it didn't work. Finally I tried to reach out to the rock and push myself around it which did work, but my paddle got stuck and wrenched out of my hands. I can't hand roll, so it ended up with a swim
