RollerCoaster Tycoon began as a critically acclaimed series, sold very well, and was loved by fans. After the third installment however, the IP was untouched for close to 10 years, after suddenly coming back and being almost universally hated by the fans who once adored the series...
But, how did this happen anyway? In this discussion, we'll be taking a look at the history of the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, from the games, to the parties involved, to even several lawsuits that happened behind the scenes, and how Atari managed to destroy their brand...
