Barney is the court jester - a three year old brown and white male Pit Bull/Boxer mix who was found in El Monte and brought to the Baldwin Park Shelter on April 2nd. Weighing seventy-one pounds, Barney has had some training - he walks well on leash and seems to be housebroken. He loves everything - people, dogs, treats, attention and toys and we think he will be an exceptional family dog for kids of all ages. Barney scored a perfect "A" on his temperament test, and is a volunteer favorite - he snorts like a pig, thinks he's a lapdog and rolls over for belly rubs and everybody wanted to play with him. Barney is an outstanding dog who is the perfect indoor pet for an active individual or family living in a private home.
