Why should I bother learning German? // Reasons to learn German, even as a native English speaker!

Are you thinking, "Why should I bother learning German?"? In this video I go through common reasons why German is not such a popular language choice, especially among native English speakers, and why that's actually pretty surprising, especially if you want to live and work in the EU! DISCLAIMER: I'm not trying to say that it's not worth learning other languages, I'm simply trying to argue why it *is* worth learning German. For context, very few people at my school (and now at my university) in England learn German compared to other languages and more and more UK schools are deciding not to teach German anymore, in favour of other foreign languages, or no languages at all. I'm really disappointed and frustrated by this, and this has motivated me to make this video!! 👍
