WELLINGTON: ROAD TRIP FINAL VLOG /// NEW ZEALAND TRAVEL VLOG

And we are in Wellington again! This is where our New Zealand Roar Trip started 30 days ago and this is where it ends. On our way back from the South Island we decided to spend a day in the capital city and show you a couple of places you can visit in Wellington.

This year has been very tough for many people and it definitely was hard for tourists and people who love to travel. But here in New Zealand domestic travel was allowed and we were lucky to be able to do a 30-day long road trip across the country and see so many incredible places. Our last road trip vlog from this adventure is about Wellington city.

We decided to take this day slowly as we were quite tired after being on the road for a month. We knew that we wanted to do the Parliament tour and visit the famous Beehive building, but we had no other plans. So the first part of that day we had a walk to the New Zealand Parliament Buildings and took that tour we wanted. It was an hour-long guided tour visiting not only the Beehive but all the building in the complex including the library and lots of beautiful rooms (even The debating Chamber of the House of Representatives!). One of the best parts of this tour is that it's completely free and runs every hour. There is also a shorter half an hour Highlights of the Parliament tour available.

The second part of our day we spent walking around the Wellington city centre and enjoying the views. As everywhere in New Zealand, there are lots to see and do there, and everyone can find something to do. We love architecture, so it was great to admire some of this city's amazing buildings and monuments, including the National War Memorial complex.
