This is a kind of a conversation between man and his Creator. A violin symbolizes human soul. The horn of sacrificial animal - shofar symbolizes the voice of God. This is a holy act dedicated to Rosh ha Shana - Biblical Feast of Shofar blowing by the obeying the commandment to blow shofar and to listen to it's voice.
