The NBC Monday Night at the Movies presentation (aired in Chicago via WMAQ Channel 5) of the made-for-TV movie "Thanksgiving Day," starring Mary Tyler Moore with Jonathon Brandmeier (legendary Chicago radio personality "Johnny B"), Kelly Curtis, Andy Hirsch, Cal Gibson, Diane Robin, Sonny Bono (in his last film appearance), Morton Downey Jr., Joe Bologna and Tony Curtis, in this tale of a dysfunctional upper-income Detroit area family who have all sorts of family and business problems come to a head on this day of days.

Among those featured are James Karen (for years the spokesperson for Pathmark supermarkets as seen in the NYC metro area).
