Damonte Ranch is 45 minutes from Incline Village and 20 minutes from both downtown Reno and Sparks. Anything residents desire is only a short drive away like The Summit Reno. This outdoor shopping mall is home to 64 retail shops like Apple, Dillards, Lululemon Athletica, Pottery Barn, and Williams-Sonoma. There are eight restaurants and the Sierra Summit Century Theatre. The Village at Double Diamond has a Peg’s Glorified Ham and Eggs, a Great Full Gardens, Dutch Bros Coffee, and a 24-hour Smith’s grocery store. Tamarack Junction Casino is convenient to residents providing multiple restaurants.

Residents have access to Wolf Run Golf Club on the western side of U.S. Highway 395. Arrowcreek Golf Club is another fantastic golf course further west of Wolf Run Golf Club. The Arrowcreek Country Club is a private members-only club although residency in Arrowcreek is not required for membership.

There are six gyms in Damonte Ranch like Double Diamond Athletic Club. Double Diamond offers personal training, a swim school, and martial arts school. Alternatively, the Damonte Ranch Wetland Loop is an easy 5-mile paved loop with beautiful views of the Damonte Ranch Wetlands and is a part of Damonte Ranch Park. The park is a hub for many Damonte Ranch events.

Damonte Ranch High School opened in 2003 as the newest addition to the Washoe County School District. It served as both a junior and senior high school to relieve enrollment at Pine Middle School until Depoali Middle School opened in 2009. Both Brown Elementary School and Double Diamond Elementary School serve kindergarten through fifth grade. An alternative school available to students is the private Bishop Manogue Catholic High School.
