"Expose to the right" (ETTR) was originally intended for maximising dynamic range when shooting at base ISO, especially for landscape photography. However, some photographers have claimed that ETTR can also improve high ISO shooting in low light to minimize noise and improve image quality. This myth is false and my purpose of this video is to debunk it. I explain why increasing higher ISO numbers than necessary won't improve pixel quality and I demonstrated with practical evidence shooting in real life to prove this.
