High in the nest of the enormous Tulip Poplar tree at the DC Arboretum, they are practicing all the skills they will need to fledge when they get a bit older. Wingercizing, balancing, self-feeding. Parents Mr. President & The First Lady continue to nurture, care for, and protect their babies -- what great providers these eagle parents are! As soon as fish are delivered now, the eaglets rush to get dinner and the parents get out of the way! Can you imagine the patience it takes to capture these images?
