Mechanic's Rock Soap | Soap Challenge Club July 2020 | LauriLin Designs

Hi Everyone! This is a video of my submission to the July 2020 Soap Challenge Club where the challenge is to make soap that looks like natural stone. What a fun challenge! My entry required buying a new silicone rock mold (so not complaining) and being creative with additives. I have a mechanic friend who is excited to test this soap out once it cures.

This special soap is formulated for my mechanic friends (and gardener friends). :-) To my basic soap recipe, I added things to provide a little abrasiveness to scrub that dirt and grim off your hands. In this soap, you will find bentonite clay, coffee grounds, pumice powder, and activated charcoal AND it just so happens that these ingredients also help give the soap it's the rock-like color too!
