Aydin Esen and the Art of Improvisation - A Musical Gift

In this episode of Everything Music I tell the story of my friend and the greatest improvisor I have ever known, Turkish pianist and composer Aydin Esen. I met Aydin 33 years ago by complete chance on my first day of living in Boston. This chance meeting was to change my life and ultimately alter the course of my children lives though experiencing his music music. It is really a documentary of our musical journey and how his music unlocked my son Dylan's mind. Aydin's music was the original inspiration for my cognitive development app Nuryl. It was Aydin's music that made me wonder what would happen if Dylan listened to it everyday as a baby. Would it sound normal to him like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star does to baby that only got exposed to simplistic, predictable low information music? You know the answer if you have seen any of Dylan's videos.
