Take a little time fluff drying after blasting the coat to help remove all knots and straighten it.This will give the best preparation for clipping or scissoring. Use a prep or detangle spray like Julie Harris Coat Management to help but make sure you pick one that doesn't weigh the coat down. You'll really notice the difference in your finish.
