Welcome to Class 07 of Black Zero Academy. In the previous classes, we learned how to add text and images, but today we learn the most powerful feature of the web: The Anchor Tag.

Without links, there is no internet! In this simple and easy tutorial, I will show you how to connect your different HTML files so your users can navigate your site like a pro.

What you will learn today:

The a Tag: What it is and how it works.

The href Attribute: How to give the "Path" to another page.

External Links: How to link to YouTube, Facebook, or Google.

Internal Links: How to connect your "Home" page to your "Contact" or "About" page.

Target Blank: How to open links in a new tab so users don't leave your site!

* Practice Task: Try creating two files: index.html and about.html. Use the code from this video to link them together. If you get a "File Not Found" error, watch the "Path" section of this video again!
