How To Choose A Niche For Your Blog To Actually Make Money Online Blogging!

I have seen a bunch of people online making mistakes when it comes to actually choosing a blog niche for their project so I wanted to make this video to go into the subject in more detail. I made this same mistake back when I first started my blogging journey and it cost me a whole bunch of time and effort working in niches that I had no business working in and most of the projects ended up failing.

In this video, I go over how to choose a niche for your blog to actually make money online blogging. People often presume that you have to go with a niche that has a ton of high search volume keywords and high commissions but this is not the case. If you are new to blogging and choosing a niche for your blog for your very first project then I would always recommend that you go with one of your main hobbies or interests.

Choosing a blog niche that you already know well will reduce the amount of research time that you have to put in for all of the articles you are publishing. Rather than chasing the higher search volume keywords with high commissions that are usually higher competition and harder to get traffic for, you can usually stick with one of your hobbies or interests and have a much easier time.

The main thing that you want to focus on if you are wanting to make money from your blog when first starting out is going for low competition niches so you are able to actually get traffic. Without traffic, you cant make money from your blog at all and then you are able to expand your blog portfolio into other domains based around other blog niches once you know the levels of keyword competition that you can rank for and go for higher price point niches.
