When he’s not busy drawing, or working on the upcoming new Spawn Movie, the legendary artist Todd McFarlane is hard at work running his action figure empire. Todd McFarlane toys brought action figures outside the realm of mere child’s playthings, and for decades, McFarlane Toys has continued to impress with their incredible sculpts and eye for popular IP. From toys like McFarlane Toys Fortnite, McFarlane Toys Movie Maniacs and McFarlane Toys Stranger Things, to his own creations like Todd McFarlane Spawn and Todd McFarlane Venom, the outlook for McFarlane 2018 continues to be strong.

Between his comic books work on superheroes like Spawn, Venom and more for DC, Marvel Comics and his own Image Comics, Todd McFarlane is one of the most famous illustrator in all of comics, but when he’s not drawing, Todd has some pretty strong opinions on the state of the toy industry in 2018, and he let them loose when we sat down to chat with him for our NYCC 2018 interview.
