It’s really key that you choose a business name that resonates with your customers.

Choose something that contains your primary keyword or secondary keywords.

But a title that is too keyword optimized may eventually harm you, if and when Google should decide to crack down on keyword based titles.

With that in mind, it’s smart to us something brandable yet keyword optimized.

#2 GMB description

Write an appealing yet keyword focused description for your GMB listing. 😁

Think of keywords that your potential customers could type into Google when doing a search for your services locally. 🤔

You got 750 characters for your description – use as many as you can but be informative! ✏️

#3 Call traffic optimization

This is where you put your phone number. Phone calls will be your top converter in this business, well above website clicks! 📞

#4 Logo

Create a free yet suitable logo with one of the free logo creators you can find online. 💡

In case you got some money to spend then you could use Fiverr for the outsourcing.

#5 Banner

The banner should mirror the essence of your business. You can use images that are “labeled for reuse”. 🛡

Alternatively, you can always search for royalty free images sites on Google to get more variety. 🖼

#6 Photos

Use images from royalty free image sites or use the “labeled for reuse” function on Google’s image tab. 💻

Make sure to add a keyword optimized title, tags using Thumbnailer pro or any similar too and add GPS coordinates to each image. 🖍🖍🖍

#7 Website

Get a free .site website provided by Google. Add a title, header, summary, and description about your business. 💻

The presentation is everything. Treat your Google My Business listing as you would treat a website – this goes for on page as well as off page optimization! 💵💵💵
