Mortal Kombat 1 Has An XP Problem

I absolutely LOVE Mortal Kombat 1 and I love all the gear and customizing my characters. Because of that, I feel like I need to point out the uneven balance when it comes to unlocking mastery levels for each character. I have maxed out the shrine, bought all of the Seasonal Gear and now have over 200k of all three coins on top of maxing out my seasonal level of 30 and account level of 100, but I only have five Kameo and three character masteries completed.

Something is wrong there. They can't have intended it taking 500-700 matches of straight up gameplay for each character to unlock the mastery. We're talking about over 12,000 matches to unlock everything?
