This black-and-white from 1945 is one of the original ‘GI – Movie Weekly’ programs presented by the Armed Forces during World War II. The series of Army newsreels were produced until October 1945 and included over one thousand features and shorts. After WWII the series was continued commercially through the Army. This episode covers the importance of cotton in the Army’s uniforms, equipment, first aid, and much more.
