Golf Cart Overcharge Fix – Evolution D5 Regeneration Problem Explained (Part 1)

Welcome to Part 1 of my Golf Cart Tender Project, where I tackle a real issue with the Evolution D5 electric golf cart: regenerative braking overcharging the battery on downhill starts.

If you leave your cart plugged in overnight and start your day by rolling downhill, the regen system kicks in before the battery has room to absorb energy, leading to overvoltage faults or long-term battery stress.
