Her life journey has taken her to the Middle East and North Africa, where she has spent significant time for both work and personal interest. She has also been a member of the Italian national rowing team and earned the title of NCAA champion twice with the University of Washington. Margherita is committed to advancing educational and professional opportunities for women, and her advocacy led her to become an active member of Soroptimist International Switzerland.
