The Secret Service: Protecting the President Everywhere
A distinguished panel of former U.S. Secret Service agents pull back the curtain and discuss all that goes into protecting the President of the United States. The former agents discuss the intricacies and coordination required to protect the President everywhere, including while getting away from Washington and even during overseas travel.
- Larry Buendorf, who intervened during an assassination attempt on President Gerald Ford in 1975, grabbing the gun from assailant Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme and forcing her to the ground
- Joe Clancy, former director of the U.S. Secret Service and head of the protective division
- Nick Trotta, who was a member of President Bush’s protective detail on 9/11 and was on the field at Yankee Stadium as President Bush threw out the first pitch before Game 3 of the 2001 World Series
