Ruptly is live from Washington, D.C. on Monday, June 1, as a rally sparked by the recent death of George Floyd at the hands of a policeman in Minnesota takes place.

The 46-year-old black man was killed in an altercation with police in Minneapolis on Monday, after an officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes as he said he couldn’t breathe. The officer was arrested and charged with murder.

The incident triggered massive violent protests across the country.
