I wrote this song for Marceline in BOOM Comic's Adventure Time: "Marcy and Simon" series. StayPuft (Tim Kiefer) half the musical genius behind #AdventureTime helped take a poem from the page to reality. Lost Hills Media directed the video and helped me come up with its concept which leads me to ALL OF YOU! Thank you to everyone who submitted fan art for the video, it truly made it! I wish I could have featured every piece.

What is a small poem in a comic book to most, is much deeper to me. Marceline's and my past parallel each other in many ways...which has led us to feel very alone in the world. But I know I'm not alone in feeling that way. This is why I wanted to share the song with you all. What we go through in life are the things that give us strength, character, and makeup who we are.
